Northumberland County Council has already approved Tesco’s new store in Amble that would create 150 new Tesco jobs. As many other counties in the UK Amble also effected very badly from the recession so no doubt that this news very welcomed in the town.
The new store of retail giant will be 30,00 sq ft and it will have car park, pedestrian access to the town centre and new access road into the site from the A1068.
Barry Spall, development planner at Northumberland Estates, said: “The submission of this reserved matters application represents a massive boost to the local economy.
