The retail giant, Tesco, have now started recruiting to fill their 400 job vacancies at their new store on Ashley Retail Park in Cheshire.
The new supermarket has been under construction since last year and it is now very near to completion. The whole project cost £35m to the company.
Tesco say that Halton Extra will open in March, 2012 with the creation of 400 jobs for jobseekers in the local area.
Recruitment has already commenced and the company is giving piority to the people who live in the area – Widnes, Runcorn and those candidates that have been jobless for at least 6 months or more and of course currently looking for a job.
