The first store to open under the name of Poundworld was in Salford Greater Manchester and now to this very day in excess of 120 Poundworld stores have commenced trade across England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Poundworld also proudly boasts a combined distribution, office and retail staffing team of over 2500 employees.

To this very day the most basic of retailing concepts has proved to be a huge success throughout the United Kingdom. With a product range now consisting of over 3000 products across multiple departments and including some of the worlds leading brands, the ingenuity shown back in 1974 has created an ever lasting legacy in British retailing history.
