Learnist CareersParticipantYour notice period should be clearly identified in your contract of employment. This will usually state working days therefore not including weekends unless you usually work weekends.
For example 10 days notice would usually equate to two weeks notice.
Learnist CareersParticipantFirstly you need to speak to your boss or manager about withdrawing your resignation as once it has been submitted it’s a formal document stating your leaving date.
If your manager prepared to cancel your resignation and keep you on then they may simply destroy the resignation letter alternatively you might write something like:
Here is a example letter for you:
Further to our recent discussion I would like to withdraw my resignation. I now expect to remain in this area and look forward to receiving my revised contract.
Please contact me if you have any queries.

good luck with your interview, hope you will get the job!
Hello, I’ve recently applied for a part-time position at House of Fraser within their menswear department. I passed the telephone interview which I had on Wednesday. They called me on Thursday to invite me to a face-to-face interview which is scheduled for the end of this upcoming week! I’m really excited. I’ve been doing lots of research into HoF & possible interview questions and the like. If you could give me any advice or suggestions, that’d be greatly appreciated as I’d love to work there! 😀
