Last updated : 24 March 2012
Zero hours contract means a piece of cake for employers. You just contracted hours of zero but they can call you to work up whatever they said in the job advertisement.
These type of employment contracts are suitable for those who wants flexibility and occasional earnings however zero hours contract is not good for those who seeks guaranteed income in a permanent job.
Job seekers should always be careful about employment contracts when they are applying for a vacancy.
IT also means you could be left for weeks without work at their will. I would avoid them.
