Last updated : 30 September 2014
Does anyone know what to expect from an army job interview? Is it very different to any other sort of job interview?
The fitness test is something that is not common with many interviews. The army website does tell you what is expected and you can even get an app to help with training so there is no excuse for not being prepared!
I agree that you have to be completely prepared for the fitness test. If anything, you should make sure that you’re able to do more than they’re going to ask you, because you might find that your nerves stop you from performing as well as you would have liked to – so if you’re over-prepared you should find that you can still get through it regardless. You should of course be able to tell them all about why you want to join the army, and your experience up to this point, as they’re going to be interested to hear about all of that.
Is there anyone on here that has done the army fitness test? Did it turn out how they expected or was it harder or easier? How long did it take to prepare for it?
