How did you find your first job? There must be some right ways to follow to find a job for the first time.
There are not many jobs around and they say that they are mostly for experienced people.
Can you give me your helpful tips and ideas on that?
Thanks
I found my very first job by seeing a hand written advertisement in my local newsagents window for someone to look after some children in the school holidays. However, my first real job I found through a temping agency. I was employed on a week by week basis but did the job for a number of months before I was asked to apply for another job within the company that I got.
I agree that a temping agency could be a good way of getting a first job. They will interview you and then match you up to a suitable role. this could be easier than having to apply for lots of jobs. It is also wise to look for jobs at the local job centre and in local papers as well, although these may be more likely to need experienced people.
If you have no experience, then doing some voluntary work while looking for a job could be a wise move. This will enable you to put on your CV that you have worked and will also show that you are keen to work.
