Last updated : 14 April 2010
what kind of dress would you wear for a job interview? i know you should not look like a slut…
why not just wear a trouser suit?
be simple as you can..
As a woman, I would say at least knee length. Nothing too over powering, so plain and simple if you are wearing one with a pattern. I would still wear a jacket too, that way you are still looking “office” like even if you wear a dress. I see nothing wrong with wearing a dress to an interview, so long as it is the right sort of dress
What you wear to a job interview can be very important, so be careful when choosing clothes.
Suits are always the easiest option, and you can wear either a skirt or trousers (but be careful when choosing the skirt – you don’t want it to be above the knee).
If you do choose a dress, a black or other dark-coloured dress is probably the best option. Make sure that it’s not revealing, and again, not above the knee.
You could also wear a jacket over it if you want to look a bit smarter.
