Tesco Jobs In Barrow – New Store

Almost 20 Tesco jobs at new Barrow store.

A Tesco’s Express store in Barrow will bring 20 new jobs to the town. While there has not been an official opening date, the former Hitchens store in Rawlinson Street is already in development.

Tesco’s have said that this move will bring the local area a decent amount of jobs to a previously vacant store. They also mentioned that previous developments of Tesco Express stores to areas that were experiencing an high unemployment rate that can have a positive effect.

It has been well documented that the Tesco’s sales have come under pressure in the past few months, but sales have rebounded and news of these stores will only strengthen their position.
