Subway are pleased to announce that they are set to open a new branch of Subway at the Welcome Break Services in Newport Pagnell, Milton Keynes. This new store opening will create 20 new jobs. The store will open at the Services located just north of Milton Keynes close to Junction 14 of the M1 on 22nd May and will be open daily from 6am to 10pm.
The store will attract and deal with the millions of commuters and leisure travellers who use the motorway service station on a daily basis.
The CEO of the Welcome Break at Newport Pagnell, Rod McKie is delighted to have Subway opening as he feels that the Subway brand is an iconic one and that people know and love the food products throughout the UK. He went on to say that he is delighted to be able to offer his customers another choice of such high quality and Subway works perfectly well for anyone who wants to eat and continue with their journey as easily and seamlessly as possible.
The Regional Development Agent for Subway, Tesh Patel said that they have been working closely with the Welcome Break Service station over the past few months and they are very excited to be opening another outlet for the group and creating 20 new jobs in the progress. He says that a subway franchise is the perfect fit for the busy services at Newport Pagnell and from a customer perspective there is a gap in the market for a healthier, made to order sandwich options.
This new opening signals the need for choice for customers who spend a great deal of time travelling on the UKs motorways and need to be able to find sustenance on route. It’s also an exciting time for people in the local area looking for new employment opportunities with a well known brand.
