Last updated : 23 May 2013
Application forms often have boxes to fill in and I am never sure whether the words should fit as exactly as possible in to the box. What if there is not enough information? What if I have more to say than the size of the box?
The boxes are sized according to how much information the company wants to see you complete. This means that you should ideally try to fill them completely. If your writing is smaller or larger than normal, then try to make it average size so that you write the correct amount. Photocopy the application form and practice writing first, so that you know how many words you can fit in to the boxes.
I think it depends, I dont think they are expecting the box to be full, just giving people enough space to write as much information as they can to detail what needs to be known for that question
