i have read this post somewhere else which is very smiliar situation to mine. i am just wondering what would you do at this stage?
i think its a bit weird and sounds like you failed and coming back!
have your say about his please.
I left a pharmeceutical company about 8 months ago and accepted another position (higher level) with another company. When I left the first company I was in good standing and completed all task assigned to me prior to my last day.
I have found I am not impressed with my current employers policies and procedures. They are not up to date with the latest technologies and apparently have no interest in becoming more proficient.
I also am not happy with the person who has been assigned as my mentor. He constantly speaks ill of others. We have a total of about 12 people in our group and all but two of them do not want to work with this person. The two who are working with this person are new and therefore trying to remain neutral.
My question to all is: Would it be a wrong move to inquire about returning to my previous employer at this point or should I wait at least a year to see if the situation changes for the better.
Reason for this question is when I left the first company I had only been with them for 8 months. In the past I have always had positions for a minimum of 2 years and this is the first time I am contemplating moving twice in one year!
