This is a temporary, Full time post for Maternity cover

Purpose of role: To contribute to the effective performance of the store through efficient supervision of staff, promoting sales and maintaining company standards and service
Reports to: Store Manager/ Department Manager
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Commercial Focus
– Ensure effective operation of the cash points to minimise queues and optimise customer service
– Supervise staff in designated department in conjunction with the department manager to achieve required results
– Perform supervisor functions on registers in line with policy and procedure
– Ensure staff compliance with company cash register procedure
– Ensure all stock price reductions are actioned in line with company policy
– Ensure understanding of Primark`s Corporate Social Responsibility policy
