Primark’s new flagship store on Edinburgh’s Princes Street has received almost 4,500 applications for the 557 new retail and management vacancies at the store.
The company advised that all of the vacancies have been filled and training for the new roles has already commenced.
The new store has over 7,000 square meters of retail space over five floors and is due to open on 10th December 2011.
Primark currently has 226 shops across the UK, Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands, Portugal, Germany and Belgium, and this Princes Street store will be the 19th in Scotland.
