Last updated : 3 September 2012
A new Premier Inn hotel in Londonderry, claimed to be a £6 million investment in the local economy, will create 60 new jobs when it opens in November. The hotel will be located in the city’s new Crescent Link development.
Working in partnership with the Department for Employment and Learning, the hotel chain is recruiting for the site, which will be its seventh location in Northern Ireland. The hotel and Brewers Fayre restaurant is expected to open at the end of November.
Premier Inn is recruiting a number of full-time and part-time jobs and all new employees will receive full training and induction. Full details are available through the local job centre and online.
A newly appointed manager, who is local to the area, stated that he was proud to be part of the management team on the new hotel project and asserted that the Premier Inn name was a welcome addition to the city. The hotel chain’s general manager for Northern Ireland welcomed him to the team and asserted that its local recruitment activities would create a staffing complement that would ensure the success of the hotel.
