Last updated : 12 June 2014
Pets at Home is delighted to be refurbishing its town centre store in Crewe which is bringing 10 new jobs to the town centre.
Pets at Home are trying to demonstrate to the town people of Crewe and to the pet owners by renovating its store which is situated on Grand Junction Retail Park and the refurbished store will be opening on Friday 20th June.
The refurbishment includes a Vets4Pets veterinary surgery and a Groom Room which customers can bring their pets to be washed, clipped, etc. The new refurbishment will create a further 10 jobs for the local residents of Crewe bringing the total number of people employed in the store to 25 in total and these roles are a mixture of full and part time roles.
The new Vets4Pets section will have a surgery and house a full operating theatre which will also include digital X-ray facilities, in house laboratory and a hospital ward providing a full range of treatments from routine treatments and care to appointments to full emergency and surgical procedures on pets.
The new Groom room will offer a wide range of services including full grooming, bath and blow dry, puppy grooming and nail clipping which are all of extreme importance to the well being of any pet.
For all these services to be provided under one roof is excellent news for pet owners who will be able to come to the store for not only their pet food or treatments but can have them washed and their well being cared for and also turn to the experienced vets when there is a problem with their beloved pet. The reasons behind housing these services under one roof came from listening to Pets at Home customers and they are now confident that the new layout in the store will be just what their customers wanted.
