Feeding Britain’s future to help young people in the job market
A new campaign that is being launched by Unilever, United Biscuits, Mars and various other companies called; feeding Britain’s future will assist young people with training and advice. Included in this work experience will be a tour of their factories and the supermarkets involved will give training to the younger generation, which will include how to write a CV and how to attend an interview.
The scheme, which will run for a single week in September, will involve at least 23 companies. One of the companies, Tesco’s will offer free training for one week rather than work experience. Tesco’s has said it welcomes this development as it plans to create 20,000 jobs over the next two years a lot of which will go to the young.
