Has anyone had any experience in choosing between two job offers? What criteria would you recommend using? Salary comes to mind of course and how easy the job is to get to, but with not much difference between these two what other criteria would you suggest?
It can be difficult to know what criteria to use. However, it might be worth writing a list of pros and cons of the jobs as you see it. Then placing importance on those. Travel time may be more important to you than pay, but working in a field you like could be top above travel cost. Remember to think about what is best for you rather than just trying to think about what others will feel is the best for you. At the end of the day it will be you that has to do the job.
