Call centre company Firstsource is set to bring welcome news to Londonderry by recruiting almost 100 people after winning a contract to handle customer calls for Sky.
The jobs, which will be a mixture of permanent full-time and part-time posts, will add to the company’s current workforce of 2,000 in Belfast and Derry. The company’s General Manager of Operations stated that Firstsource is proud of its reputation among clients, who regard the Londonderry base as a place where they can expect a high quality service. He also praised the work ethic of the staff in Derry and the customer satisfaction scores that the site obtains, indicating that the call centre is regarded as a centre of excellence.
