im currently self-employed and planing to jump to a permanent job soon as my work is not going alright at the moment. How hard is to find a job after being self employed for a long time.

yeah it is good to do self employment rather then doing job.
Self employment can sometimes be looked on with apprehension.
However there are many benefits which you could sell to an employer.Organisational skills, time management skills etc etc.

Self employment is far better than doing job. It gives the person Self Confidence, motivation, time management etc. Here, there is no boss only you are the boss.
You use your own skills and try to achieve new goals.All the best.
