IT QA/Tester Salary London UK

Hi guys,

I live in Montreal, Canada and I am planning on moving to the UK to live and work in England sometime around May or June of this year. I have 6 years of experience in IT (mostly testing) in the financial and insurance industries. I have a bachelor of economics with a graduate diploma in Management and Taxation. I am also PMP certified and in the process of obtaining ISTQB certification (CTFL).

If I work in London, what salary should I be asking for if its a permanent or a contract position? Can anybody provide me with advice on this?
