There always seem to be cuts being made to the forces. Recent predictions have said that if the conservatives win the next election they will have to make even more cuts, which could include forces jobs. If this is the case is it worth applying for one as it could just be a case of first in, first out?
There is no guarantee with any career path chosen, that you will get job security. Within any business there is a risk of cuts and it is hard to predict where they might come and who they might decide to make redundant. It is probably wise to just take the job that you think will be best for you at the time and then see what happens in the future.
