Last updated : 1 June 2010
interview nervousness? does this effect you very much? it usually happens to most but we should really keep us calm and answer carefully.
Yes I agree. The nerves are usually a good sign, but try not to get too panicky, it can be difficult to think straight, but remember they will know you are nervous, and will expect you to take your time to answer the questions
There are some very simple, yet effective ways to help you keep calm. Such as checking out your route the day before the interview so you know where you are going, getting there 10 mins early, so you arrive calm and not on the last push – this also gives you time to nip to the loo to check your appearance one last time. To buy yourself a few extra moments of thinking time, you can repeat any interview questions as part of your answer – although this should not be used with every question you are given!
Remember that by the time you have got to the point of interview, they have seen your CV and think you are worth meeting. They are not there to catch you out, but to learn more about you…..Good Luck 😉
Surely, nervousness will effect a lot in interview to reject you.If you don’t speak anything ,sitting infront of the manager idol, how can he offer you a job.One of my close friend completed 3 rounds, while coming to the last round she didn’t spoked anything .She got rejected in a top most company.Till now she won’t forget that incident. 🙁
