Last updated : 12 May 2013
I am applying for many jobs every week however because of the lack of experience I feel very nervous about being rejected every time. It’s killing my confidence.
What would you recommend?
Difficult, it depends on the rejection reasons I suppose. I would say try not to let it get to you, but that is easier said than done x
This can be a difficult situation. However, I would recommend that you list all of your skills down on paper. Think about everything that makes you worth employing. You will have qualifications, experience and skills that will be attractive, even if it is a few GCSE’s and a smile! Use this list to boost your confidence and consider what the employer is missing out on by turning you down.
I would also recommend only applying for jobs that you feel you could do. If a lack of confidence in your abilities comes through in the application, then this will put off an employer.
I would also recommend that you work hard on looking online for tips on how to fill out application forms and check your CV is professional and good. Then you will have a better chance of being accepted for the jobs that you apply for.
Remember that there are jobs out there for you but you have make sure that you can show potential employers that you are the right person for the job. It is probably thE fact that you are either applying for the wring jobs or not putting yourself forward in thE best light that you are being turned down. Not to do with you personally.
Good luck!
