Last updated : 18 June 2013
What qualifications do i need to become a dental nurse? Can you please let me know if A Levels necessary or GCSE enough for this job?
Thanks
A trainee dental nurse does not need formal qualifications but it is likely that you will be expected to study while doing the job. You will need some GCSE’s although grades D-G may be enough for certain courses. You will be able to get a diploma or NVQ while you are working. You may want to study full-time before applying for a job and in this case you can do a general Dental Council course which is offered at some universities.
