Last updated : 25 July 2011
H&M is to create 40 job vacancies by opening new stores in Ireland – at Newry and at Lisburn. The company will open 10 more stores in the UK and Ireland this year in 2011.
Here is the news about the H&M.
Fashion retail giant H&M is to open new stores in Lisburn and Newry, creating around 40 jobs.
It will take the high street chain’s outlet tally to six stores in Northern Ireland after the autumn openings at The Quays and Bow Street Mall.
Magnus Olsson, H&M country manager for Ireland, said: “We’ve been looking for opportunities to expand our portfolio in Northern Ireland for some time and The Quays in Newry and the Bow Street Mall in Lisburn are ideal locations for us to do so.”
H&M (Hennes -amp; Mauritz), which is second in global sales to Zara-owner Inditex, already has stores in Ballymena, Craigavon’s Rushmere Shopping Centre, Belfast’s Victoria Square and the city’s Royal Avenue.
