Does anyone know about any incentives the government are offering for people returning to work? Things like training courses, bonuses etc? Do you have to be out of work for a certain period in order to qualify?
Your Job Centre Plus Office will be able to tell you about any of these available to you. It is usually after 13 weeks of unemployment that you will have an interview and may be offered placement on a scheme. These will very much depend on your current skills, qualifications and work experience. However, failure to complete a compulsory scheme could effect your benefits. These will normally be work experience rather than training, but they do differ.
