Dreams are one of the largest bed retailers on the high street, with over 275 stores across the UK and plans of more stores opening by the end of this year. Dreams recognises the need for loyal, hardworking staff, as without them they wouldn’t have a successful business.
With jobs across their retail stores, head office and distribution & manufacturing centres, they have plenty of opportunities for the right individual.
Application
To apply to work at Dreams, it’s all done online via their website. You can search for current open vacancies at your leisure. If you have a store near you which has current vacancies, feel free to pop in with a copy of your CV and a covering letter, addresses to the store manager. Your covering letter needs to be set out like a formal letter with your address and contact information on the top right hand corner, have one paragraph explaining about you and your experiences, and a second paragraph explaining why you want the role at Dreams.
Interview
For the interview stage at Dreams, you can expect a 1:1 interview with either the store manager or the assistant store manager. Try to turn up 5-10 minutes prior to your interview and while you’re waiting, ensure you come across professional, no chewing gum or messing around with your mobile phone. Have a smart appearance; black trousers/skirt, black or white shirt and black shoes. They will ask questions regarding your application, your previous experience and they will want to know why you wish to work at Dreams.

Once you become an employee at Dreams, you will be entitled to a number of benefits, including; life assurance, pension and a discounted membership at a gym of your choice.
Salary
Your salary at Dreams, in the retail sector will be as follows; full time sales consultant OTE up to £30,000pa, assistant branch manager OTE up to £35,000pa and branch manager OTE up to £40,000pa.
