Telling lies in your CV won’t be as good as you think. Lies can be like;
exaggerated qualifications,
Hiding career gaps,
exaggerating the pay that you were getting,
etc.

It has to be one of the worst things you can do while writing a CV. Potential employers may ask you questions regarding your “lies” and you will have trouble answering them. Avoid this at all costs.
Under no circumstances lie on your CV. The same goes for an application form. Do not lie about convictions, career gaps, wages, qualifications or job titles. Underexaggerating is as bad as overexaggeration. Don’t make yourself look stupid. Be honest, and straight up, even if you aren’t the model employee. Make the good bits sound amazing by dressing them up, not making them up!
If you get caught lying on your CV, you risk instant dismissal should it arise at any point during your employment or application/interview process.
