Last updated : 22 August 2012
Tasty combination creates up to 300 jobs in norton, north yorkshire.
Meat manufacturers Cranswick have joined forces with Pie maker Yorkshire Baker to create a huge new pie and pasty production plant in Norton, set to employ some 300 people. This will naturally include food handling operatives, machinery operators, delivery drivers, warehousers and packers.
The firm already announced a plant that will produce Sausage rolls and Quiches at Malton in North Yorkshire earlier this year, which is also set to create jobs. Anyone with an interest in working for the new partnership should approach Cranswick, Yorkshire Bakers, or Kingston Foods whom Cranswick have recently acquired.
