A spokesperson for the care company stated that the setting would be an ideal location for its clients and would provide exceptional scenery for all to enjoy. If approved, the 60 bed care home would provide 24/7 residential and nursing care as well as facilities to help people with dementia to stay as active and independent for as long as possible. The plan would also include a car park and hairdressing and laundry units on the site.
The company hopes that the building work on the home could start in the late spring or early summer of 2013.
