Last updated : 25 September 2012
Cardiff has recently enjoyed a substantial job boost as Save Britain Money, a successful and fast growing company based in Swansea, has opened an extensive new 9,000 sq ft call centre in a prime location. The investment in the city led to the company undertaking a large recruitment programme to fill a variety of posts and, in the end, created in the region of 300 office based and customer service jobs.
The company’s headquarters are located in Swansea’s Enterprise Park and employ 1,500 staff, with 1,000 located in the offices and 500 out in the field. The group to which Save Britain Money belongs has seven companies in total and provides services in energy efficiency, payment protection insurance claims management, switching energy provides online and by telephone, price comparison websites, debt management and renewable energy advice.
The new and modern offices, which are located in Cardiff’s Trafalgar House, were opened at a celebratory formal ceremony by football star Craig Bellamy. The move is seen as a welcome addition to the city and it is hoped that the news will act as a good advertisement for other large employers to follow suit.
