Last updated : 7 November 2012
Financial services company Butterfield Fulcrum has announced it is to create 150 new jobs in Dublin.
International financial services is a key sector targeted in the Irish Government’s plan for jobs and growth, and in the past 18 months they have implemented a number of changes to support expansion and job creation in this sector.
Butterfield Fulcrum is a fund administration company that provides investment services. It first opened offices in 2009 in Ireland, where it already employs 100 people.
The 150 new jobs will be created over the next three years in the areas of middle office and customer-relationship management.
The firm has had a very positive experience in Dublin with clients being impressed with the calibre of people they have recruited. They put the expansion down to their continued success with such a strong workforce.
The expansion has helped establish Ireland’s reputation as a global centre for fund administration. The success and accelerated growth of the company’s Irish operations demonstrates Ireland’s ability to host international financial services companies and provide the highly-skilled employees they require for rapid growth.
Butterfield Fulcrum is a top five independent fund administration company with 25 years’ experience servicing the alternative investment industry. They have 10 offices in 9 countries with over 500 employees servicing 800 funds.
