Last updated : 14 January 2013
Has anyone applied and gone through the interview process at Barclay’s Corporate Assessment Centre? I am wondering if you could give me some advice regarding the interview? What should I expect on the day? What time of questions do they ask?
The interview takes about 40 mins to complete and the questions are not too hard.
Be ready for those questions:
-Why did you choose your University and the course?
– Why Barclays?
– Why Finance?
Has anyone had this in 2012 who can volunteer to write something about it?
Thanks.
I can’t help specifically with this, but I certainly would advise being prepared for the questions listed and more. Try to think of why you want to apply to Barclays and not just (because I’m a graduate and saw you scheme! – try to think of something that will impress them but is near the truth – perhaps something like “Barclays has been in the financial sector for well over 300 years, so is the biggest established banking company. I feel this is the best company to work for” etc
One of my friends had an interview about 18 months ago with Barclays; however, I wouldn’t know whether it’s the same thing or not, I’m afraid.
I know that she had a group interview anyway, so that may be something that’s quite popular with Barclays, and also other banks.
