Aston Martin have announced that they are looking to create a further 250 jobs and expand its UK manufacturing facilities based in Gaydon in Warwickshire.
The new roles will be created over the next few months and this investment is part of £500 million that the company are putting into the future of sports car ranges. This extension and expansion will require £20 million to be able to extend its manufacturing facility at Gaydon in Warwickshire and this will be put in by Aston Martin.
Aston Martin have said that it wants to increase its workforce and manufacturing capabilities in a big way to be able to focus on the future ranges and what their customers want as demand increases.
As part of this expansion, Aston Martin will be extending its factory site which will then enable them to be able to build a new chassis. They will also then have a facility in which they can build and work on new prototypes to be built. The setting will also consist of new offices for the back office support aspect of the company and they will also require greater storage area for bigger and more parts they will be needing.
Aston Martin have already started on their recruitment campaign to secure more workforce for the site in Gaydon, Warwickshire which is good news for the local community who may be able to work for the luxury car retailer in some aspect.
By such a huge investment from Aston Martin, it shows that they are focusing on the long term future of the company which is part of their long term business strategy as they want to be the number one British luxury sports car brand and to be able to do this further they need to expand across all areas and have more employed staff to be able to continue their building of a successful business.
