I agree with Loztiggy. Obviously, I don’t know the reason for you having to return to your native country but, if there are mitigating circumstances and you need to go home for family reasons, etc, you should explain why you have to go back.
It’s always difficult to claim job seekers allowance if staff see that you have resigned from a job so it’s important that, when you return, you are able to provide a very good reason for leaving your job and spending some time back home.
As Loztiggy suggests, I would save some spare funds if you can to tide you over when you come back to the UK. If there are particular circumstances that need to be considered, I’m sure that the Benefits Agency will take a little longer to consider your application for job seekers allowance.
