Farmfoods offer a wide range of job opportunities; retail assistants, assistant managers, branch managers, and warehouse & distribution vacancies. So this that in mind, there truly is something for everyone. You will receive practical training which you can use throughout all your working life, Farmfoods are willing to give anyone a chance, how you progress within your career is up to you.

You can search for all current vacancies online, where you then have to fill some of your personal information out, along with your employment history, your education and training and finally two references before you can submit your application.

Interview

For the interview, you should expect a 1:1 interview with the store manager. You should turn up 5-10 minutes prior to your interview, have a smart appearance and stay profession at all times. He/she will ask a few questions regarding your application form, your experience and will give you more information about the job role. You will be asked about real life work situations and be asked how you would react if the situations happened to you. Towards the end of the interview is the chance for you to ask any questions which you may have, they will also check that the references that you provided are still ok to be used.

Salary

For a general sales assistant, your salary will start at national minimum wage which for over 22 year olds is currently £6.08ph, as a supervisor, you will be offered a salary of £6.35ph. An assistant managers salary is between £14,000 and £17,000pa, and a branch managers salary is between £18,000 and £24,000pa.
