I know your establishment quite well as I have attended conferences in the past.
In addition to the above I have taught about spirituality and religion from a sociological perspective at my own and another university. I work well, both alone and as a member of a teaching team and have been involved in module and course development during my academic career. Just a tip for those writing cover letters – make sure you proofread it, as there are lots of employers who won’t tolerate bad spellings and grammar!

If you want someone else to look over your cover letter as a second pair of eyes, then there is no problem in doing that
