To be a Chemical Engineer you will be degree qualified with a BEng in Chemical Engineering and have a good background in Maths and Science and enjoy problem solving. The role of a Chemical Engineer is involved in the research and design of raw material and turn them into every day products for domestic and industrial use. You will be required to test these materials to check their usage and who they can be used by and for what.
You will need to be a good problem solver and be able to manage and run projects for a company which includes managing budgets and a team of people. You will need to have good planning skills and be able to organise yourself and others to ensure that projects run on time efficiently and within budget.

I am an intelligent BEng qualified Chemical Engineer with a passion for maths and Science. I have wanted to study chemical engineering from a young age and am very interested in the process of chemical engineering and how raw materials are converted into every day useable products for business and commercial use.
I enjoy researching and developing and enjoy doing the projects from beginning to end as you get a greater understanding of the materials you are working with. I am an excellent team player with great communication skills and excellent IT skills. I am a very capable at planning and organising and I enjoy working on different projects that provides variety and flexibility for greater learning in my career choice.
I am a self motivated individual who is always keen to learn and I am keen to learn different areas of chemical engineering and keep up to date with these areas so that I can benefit my employer.
