Charity Fundraiser Cover Letter Example
Dear Sir/Madam,
Application for the post of Charity Fundraiser
I have recently seen an advert for a Charity Fundraiser and I would like to apply for this.
I have had previous experience in organising events such as charity balls, fairs and fun sports in the summer in order to raise money for the particular charity I am working for at the time. I feel that I am a creative person who is able to think of new ideas and have a great imagination of new ideas.
I am an effective communicator and I feel that I have great drive and enthusiasm for my work. I like to know that I have made a difference and made an event as successful as I possibly can by whatever means as door to door leaflet dropping, marketing via social media etc.
I am able to work on my own initiative but I also have a network of colleagues where we meet to come up with new fundraising ideas by brain storming and this is something that works very well for me. I enjoy working with other people on events and I enjoy the organisation that this requires, I am very methodical and like to ensure that every aspect of an event has been looked at clearly and given its best chance to be successful.
I have enclosed a copy of my CV which details the previous experience that I have had. I feel that my skills are transferable to your company and would like to be considered for the role.
Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours sincerely
