Work History |
January 2010 – Present
Call Handler, Blue Communications, London Working for this large mobile phone and internet provider as a call handler was a varied and challenging role. My daily duties included returning calls to customers that had called previously, and taking new calls. I had specific queues I dealt with, such as lost and stolen handsets where I would have to log the details of the theft or loss, and arrange a replacement handset. I also dealt with faults, so I would have to diagnose problems with handsets and attempt to resolve the problem whilst on the call with the client. I also dealt with people wishing to upgrade, in which I would have to help them find the right phone or tariff.
January 2008- January 2010 Telesales Handler, Sea Digital, London. Working in this large entertainment business hub, my main duties were to upsell customers packages in order to get more income for the company. It was my job to call clients and offer them upgrades at a lower than standard price, in return for staying with SEA for a fixed term. I would also offer them upgraded hardware and warranty services. Occasionally I would be changed to an inbound campaign if there was a shortage of inbound staff available.
January 2007 – January 2008 Call Handler, Police, London Working for the police in a civil role as call handler saw my daily work day was busy and eventful. I would be responsible for taking calls from members of the public with reports of crime or incidents. I would then have to assess what priority the call was and respond accordingly by sending officers or logging details into a database. |
