If you are looking for a career in Art then you will more than likely have studied art at university and be very passionate about Art. What type of career you go into from Art is up to your individual person but you could be an Artist, you could lecture students about Art, you could provide Art classes, be an Art editor etc, there are numerous roles in which you can undertake but the main thing that an employer will look at it how creative you are, what type of Art you do, understand and know about and where your passion lies.
Employers will be looking at what lies beneath the Artist. What type of Art are you passionate about, where do you see your career taking you. Why did you study art at University? What have you learnt? These are all questions about Art as a subject but don’t forget to think about other qualities you have such as how you work, are you organised, methodical etc.

I have always had a passion for Art since a young age and my talents have developed and changed over the years as I have gained more and more experience. I am now keen to share my experience with others and help them to develop their passion and find what they are good at.
I have excellent communication skills, have a great creative understanding. I am organised, disciplined and very methodical in my work. I like to plan my work thoroughly and have a theme in mind rather than seeing what happens and am now keen to begin my career properly in something that I feel I am good at and I also enjoy.
