Work History
January 2010 – Present
Aircraft Cleaner, Squeezyjet Heathrow Airport, London
Working for this large airport as an Aircraft Cleaner it was my duty to clean planes as they arrived into the airport. I would be assigned a part of the plane to tidy any mess, hoover, and replace sundry items such as sickness bags. The Airline I worked for kept costs low, so we didn’t have to vacuum every time, but the plane still had to look neat and tidy.
January 2008- January 2010
Aircraft Cleaner, Gatwick Airport, London.
I worked for this large and busy international airport as a general aircraft cleaner. Instead of working for one airline I would be deployed to any aircraft which required cleaning. That meant I would have to follow instruction from crew members of that airline to ensure that I was following the companies policy and procedures, but it would generally entail vacuuming the aircraft, wiping down the cabin, and removing rubbish.
January 2007 – January 2008
Aircraft Cleaner, British Flights, Stansted Airport, London
Working for this busy airline as a cleaner saw me having to clean a section of cabin in only half an hour. I would have to vacuum the cabin floors and seats, remove all rubbish from the aircraft, and ensure it was clean and tidy. I would also have to clean the aircraft toilet and ensure it was working well and clean.
