Thinking about your exit interview is important, because it can be of benefit to both yourself and your previous employer. One thing that you should remember, though, is that if you’ve had any trouble that has made you leave, you need to be diplomatic when stating this – because there is a chance that you might need to ask them for a reference at some point in the future. You need to be able to rely on the fact that you’re going to get a good one.
